June Boswell Adams, 85, Neosho, MO died December 25, 2013 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin after a short illness. June was born March 30, 1928 in Baxter Springs, KS to Roscoe Albert Boswell and Alta Marie Brinkley Boswell. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Newcomers and Neosho Area Widow to Widow. She was a seamstress working at La-Z-Boy Midwest for many years. She lived south of Seneca for about 50 years, and moved to Neosho 1-1/2 years ago. She married Donald William Adams on January 26, 1943 in Post Texas. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1997.
She had six children: Tresea June Adams, B&D, January 15, 1944, Evelyn Marie and Jerry Oxford, Inola, OK, Aleta Sue and Bud Boyer, Neosho, MO Donald Wayne and Patty Adams, Neosho, MO Franklin Roscoe ‘Ross’ and Glenda Adams, Neosho, MO and Calvin Victor ‘Butch’ and Sarah Adams, Seneca, MO. She had one brother, Albert Boswell who is deceased. She also had three sisters, Wanda Gilbert, Seneca, MO and Roberta Miller and Myrtle Kissel both deceased. She is survived by 11 Grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, at Clark Chapel of Memories, 312 S. Wood, Neosho.
Chapel service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Clark Chapel of Memories, 312 S. Wood, Neosho.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
