Justin Ray Henson, age 34, of Carl Junction, Mo., passed away on Saturday December 14, 2013, at his home.
Justin was born on September 19, 1979 in Joplin, the son of Rick and Susan (Riley) Henson. He has been a lifetime area resident. He was a licensed electrician and worked the past three years for K.A.B. Electric in Carl Junction. Prior to that he worked for Energized Electric of Grove, Okla., where he was able to travel across the United States for his job. He attended Christ Church of Oronogo. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He enjoyed the annual Henson Family Vacation at Crawford State Park and weekend outings at Spring River. Justin enjoyed vacationing with James Vigil and family at Disneyland.
Justin is survived by his twins Kain and Raigen Henson, Carterville, Mo.; his parents Rick and Susan Henson, Carl Jct., Mo.; one brother Ricky Henson and wife Heather, Joplin; two sisters, Jeni Vieselmeyer and husband Jason, and Utona Montez and husband Marcus, both of Carl Jct.; maternal grandmother, Nina Riley, Joplin; two nieces, Katie Roy and Makayla Henson; and four nephews, Ryan Henson, Jayden Montez, Ty Montez, and Luke Vieselmeyer. .
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Justin will be cremated following services. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be given to Southwest Missouri Bank for the Justin Henson Memorial Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
