Bruce was born June 9, 1959 in Joplin, son of Barbara Kuhn of Joplin, and the late J. C. Kuhn, Jr. who died February 1, 2008. Bruce graduated from Seneca High School, and then worked for several years with Eagle Picher, then Cardinal Scale, and most recently as a machinist with Webb Corp of Webb City. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Zach Kuhn and fiance' Kristin; daughter, Morgan Kuhn-Wofford and husband Jharus all of Joplin; his mother, Barbara Kuhn of Joplin; sister, Teri L. Thomas and husband Ray of Fredericksburg, Virginia; grandchildren, Avarus Wofford, Jaxon Kuhn, and Dresden Wofford; nieces, Whitney Washington and Danielle Thomas.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Larry Shumaker officiating.
Private family interment will occur in Kirk Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family for a memorial fund for his grandchildren care of Parker Mortuary.
