Teri Kaye Highfill Jones, age 58 of Webb City, passed from this life on Sunday, December 8, 2013.
Teri was born October 9, 1955 to Paul and Billie Best. She graduated from Springfield’s Hillcrest High School. On June 29, 1973 she married Terry Highfill. To this union were born three daughters and one son. Teri Kaye and Terry were married for 26 years and remained wonderful friends to this day.
On March 6, 2004 she married Dave Jones in Eureka Springs, AR. He survives.
Teri worked at a variety of jobs in her life and specialized in customer service in the retail business.
Additional survivors include a son, Chad Highfill of St. Louis, MO; three daughters, Melanie Miner and husband Dave of Webb City, Stacey Walton and husband Cody of Car Junction, Tara Highfill of Joplin; stepson, Jeff Jones; three brothers, Michael Best, Dennis Best and Derek Best; two sisters, Julie Smith and Kenna Anagnostou; and 13 grandchildren in whom she found her greatest joy.
Teri was preceded in death by one of the most special people in her life, Terry's mom Lois Highfill.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Parker Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
