Wilson Tripp

Wilson Roy Tripp, Jr., 81, Neosho, passed away peacefully December 14, 2013 at his home in Neosho.

 Wilson was born June 29, 1932 to Wilson Roy Tripp, Sr. and Golda Pierce in Iowa. He spent most of his life in Waterloo, Iowa with his wife, Verla Mae Shortley. He was a Korean War Veteran and took his basic training at Ft. Crowder in Neosho. He returned to Neosho five years ago, to be with his son and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Verla; two brothers, Delford and Hoyt Tripp and a sister, Harriett. Wilson is survived by three sons, Chris Tripp and wife, Jane, Neosho; Micheal Tripp, Iowa and Richard ‘Ricky Tripp, Iowa; an adopted daughter, Kathy Siebrands of Arizona; three grandchildren, Richard Tripp, William Tripp and Crystal Thurman of Neosho; three great grandchildren, Mariah Thurman, Racheal Leeper and Wyatt Leeper and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Waterloo, Iowa, for friends and family to pay their respects. 


Cremation services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
