Lois R. Turnbull, age 84, Lamar, passed away at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center, Carthage, after an illness.
Lois was born August 27, 1929 in Columbus, Kansas to the late Earl T. Creech and Bernice Vinny Cowell Creech.
She worked at Lockheed-Martin for many years as a manager in the legal department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Clyde Turnbull, Jr. on June 13, 2007. She was also preceded in death by a son, Leo C. Turnbull III in 2012.
Survivors include two daughters, Joanna Turnbull, Lamar, Missouri, Marian E. Turnbull, N. Hollywood, California; one granddaughter, Stephanie Zaslow; and one great grandson, Benjamin Evan Zaslow.
Graveside services are planned for Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Bob Simon will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
