Vicky Lynn Kissel, age 63, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday December 14, 2013 at her home, following an illness.
Vicky was born on February 24, 1950 in Joplin the daughter of the late Charles Pippin and Vivian (Reeves) Rapp. She has been a lifetime area resident. She worked at Eagle Picher. She was a member of The Sheep Shed and a former member of Central Christian Center for over forty years. She was a very good bowler.
She most recently married Winston Kissel on June 25, 1993, and he survives. Additional survivors include; three daughters, Melissa Day, Kimberly Day and Tonya Jones, all of Joplin; one step-son, Tyson Kissel, Webb City, Mo.; two step-daughters, Lindsay Kissel and Holly Overton, both of Carthage, Mo.; one half-brother, Butch Rapp, Joplin; one half-sister, Vanessa Rapp, Joplin; ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sheana Vincent in 2010.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. She will be cremated following services.
The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kissel family, in care of the mortuary.
