Lois “Borland” Langevin, 80, passed away January 21, 2014 in Carthage, Missouri.
Lois was born March 25, 1933 in Butler, Missouri to Virgil and Connie “Chitwood” Borland. Lois was a longtime Carthage resident. She worked at State Employee Starting in 1951 and then at Flex-O-Lators for over 40 years. Lois was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carthage.
Lois was united in marriage to Maurice Langevin June 24, 1956 in Jay, Oklahoma he preceded her in death. Lois is survived by one sister Nadine Smith of Joplin, four brothers Lawerence Borland of Carthage, Glen Borland and wife Barbara of Carthage and Joe Borland and wife Melva of Carthage and Gary Borland and wife Pam of Carthage. Numerous nieces and nephews. Lois is preceded by her parents, her husband Maurice Langevin and one brother Vance Borland.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday January 27, 2014 at Park Cemetery Carthage, MO. Visitation will be held prior to the Graveside service at 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Over 60 center of Carthage in care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
