(From Parker Mortuary)Beverly Ann Neely, 82, of Joplin, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly entered this life on January 14, 1939, in rural Diamond, Missouri to the union of the late Hershel and Lucille (Fenimore) Shull. Beverly was a very devoted employee to all her employers, her last one being a Standardized Patient for KU Medical Center.
She loved spending time with her family and always looked forward to family gatherings, especially game nights with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her flowers, gardening and visiting with her friends and her church family. She was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church. Beverly was a lady full of love and had such a caring heart. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter “Bud” Neely; son, David Brown; siblings, Hershel Shull and Sharon Burnett; two sisters-in-law, Norma Shull and Roxy Shull.
Beverly is survived by her children, Cindy Sipes and husband, Roger, of Lamar, Missouri, Tom Brown and wife, Tina, of Edmond, Oklahoma and Sarah Stratton and husband, Michael, of Joplin, Missouri; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and brother Richard Shull of Diamond, Missouri.
Graveside services for Beverly are 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Fullerton Cemetery, Carthage, with Tom Brown, Roger Sipes and Michael Stratton officiating. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Tom Brown, Tommy Brown, Max Brown, Zach Sipes, Brady Brummett and Gideon Horn. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are being directed to Turn Around Ranch in care of the mortuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
