(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Charles Eugene Baumann, 71, of Odessa, Missouri was called to his Heavenly home on Sunday September 5, 2021 while at the Blue Hills Rest Home in Independence, Missouri. He was born in Springfield, Missouri on November 6, 1949; the son of the late Raymond Paul and Irene (Gilden) Baumann Sr. He was united in marriage on December 13, 1977 to Donna Donaho; she survives.
He was retired from Peterbilt in Kansas City, Missouri and a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War.
Charles is survived by his wife Donna; one son: Scott Baumann and his wife Jackie of Odessa, Missouri; four sisters: Mary Ann Wormington of Monett, Elizabeth Kelley of Webb City, Missouri, Cathy Michael of Monett and Cora Baumann of Cassville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond Sr. and Irene; two brothers: Raymond Baumann Jr. and James Baumann, and one sister: Marie Baumann.
Visitation for Charles is being held on Sunday September 12, 2021 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Graveside services are being held on Monday September 13, 2021 at 2:00p.m. at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
