(From Brenner Mortuary)Rosalea G. Imhof, 94, formerly of Cherokee, KS, passed away at 9:05 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2021, at the Wilson Medical Center, Neodesha, KS.
She was born September 25, 1926, at Redfield, KS, the daughter of Lewis Largent and Lea (Troy) Roweth.
On December 18, 1948, she was united in marriage to Clyde Eldon Imhof at Cherokee, KS. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2007.
Membership was held in the Cherokee United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Imhof is survived by one son, Dennis E. Imhof (Katheryn) of Joplin, MO, two daughters, Kathy Clarke (Bill) of Yates Center, KS, and Karen Nicholson of Wichita, KS, one brother, Robert Roweth of Uniontown, KS, one sister, Pattie Wilson of Yates Center, KS, nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, David Roweth and one grandson.
A service for Mrs. Imhof is set for 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Cherokee United Methodist Church, Cherokee, with Pastor Lindsey Clarke officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee City Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, at the church. The family suggests memorials to the Cherokee United Methodist Church. Memorials may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 East 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762.
