Jerry Wayne McBride, 69, Neosho, MO passed away July 7, 2020. He was born January 18, 1951 in Brownwood, TX to Eula Faye (Harvey) and Thomas Alfred McBride.
Jerry was a veteran of the US Army National Guard. He was the owner operator of McBride Body Shop for 32 years and currently owned McBride Oakridge Koi. Jerry attended Splitlog Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising dogs and koi, and being with his grandchildren.
Jerry and Phyllis (Thompson) were married August 3, 1973 in Neosho, MO and she survives of the home.
Jerry is also survived by two children, Matt McBride and wife, Hailey and Tammy Harris and husband, Travis, all of Neosho; one brother, Tom McBride and wife, Peggy of Bradbury, VT; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; several cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Friday, July 10, 2020 at Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, Newtonia, MO. Pastor Billy Martin will officiate. Jerry will lie in state at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO on Wednesday, July 8 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm and again on Thursday, July 9 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
