Patsy K. Summers, age 78, passed away on Tuesday July 21, 2020, at Freeman Hospital, following an illness.
Patsy was born on July 13, 1942 in Lamar, MO, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Looney) Sitton. She has been a lifelong area resident. She worked as a salesperson for Newmans, Herrs and Venture. She enjoyed shopping and going to the casino. She loved having her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren at her home.
She is survived by three daughters, Teri Slater and husband Ray, Webb City, MO, Kelly Melugin, Joplin, MO, and Julie Wilton and husband Jim, Joplin, MO; one sister, Bonnie S. Weston, Joplin, MO; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth R. Sitton.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, There will be no formal visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
