Ruby was born on December 21, 1928 in Wynn, Ar. the daughter of E.M. and Myrtle (Worwick) Sullens.
She has been a long-time area resident, Ruby worked as an In-Home Aide for Oxford Hospice before retiring in 2012. She loved to garden and do crafts and projects, Ruby also enjoyed writing poetry. She was a member of Harmony Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son; Michael Baysinger of Joplin, two sisters; Marie Belben of Kansas City, Ks., Candy Ruiz of Eldon, Mo., one brother; Dale Sullens also of Eldon, very special friends; Marilyn Spidle and Terry Wachaob, three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sheehan, a son; Mark Baysinger, and three brothers, Gerald Sullens, Lloyd Sullens and Arthur Junior Sullens.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Forest Park Cemetery in Joplin. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
