Dorothy Mae Cleveland of Webb City, MO passed from this life Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Webb City Health and Rehabilitation Center in Webb City, MO. She was 96.
Dorothy was born April 1, 1924 in Kansas City, MO to John Franklin and Katherine (O’Gorzaly) Fessler. She was a longtime resident of the Craig County, OK area where she was raised and she resided in rural Welch, OK area for many years. Lately she had resided in the Joplin, Carthage and Webb City area. Dorothy was a homemaker and had worked at the Army Ammunitions Plant in Parsons, KS. She was a member of the Gospel of Peace Tabernacle in Carthage, MO.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband William O. Cleveland, an infant son Leroy James Cleveland, a daughter Linda Marie Allen, her parents and 9 siblings.
Survivors include 1 son Ronald Lee Cleveland and wife Cheryl of Miami, OK, 1 daughter Carol Ann Lunsford and husband William of Adrian, MO, son – in – law Bobby Allen of Quapaw, OK, 5 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Williams’ Timberhill Cemetery, west of Miami, OK. Tom Peca will officiate.
