Gerald Lloyd "Jerry" Storbeck, age 85, Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Truman Health Care Center in Lamar, Missouri.
Jerry was born May 24, 1935 in Jasper County, Missouri, son of the late Lawrence Storbeck and Nellie M. Watsell Storbeck. He has lived in Golden City, Missouri for most of his life, working as a farmer.
In his younger years he did spend some time in Kansas City working for Western Electric, but he returned to Golden City to farm.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Todd, who passed away on August 8, 2011.
Survivors include his son, Robert Storbeck of Columbus, Ohio; grandsons, Christopher, and Geoffrey and wife Lori, and his granddaughter, Julie Smith and husband Kip; great-grandsons, Mason and Elliot; sister, Karen Reed of Lamar, Missouri; step children, Troy Todd and wife Cheryl, Carla Hutchins and husband Marion, Melissa Reeves and husband Jim, and Brandy Todd and wife Tammy; nine step grandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
