Mabel Hatzfeld

Mrs. Mabel Eva Hatzfeld, 94, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Southwest City, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, while at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Eva entered this life on January 12, 1926, in Washburn, Missouri, daughter of the late Wilfred C. and Martha Adeline (Reece) Snider. She was raised and attended school in Southwest City, Missouri. 

On December 24, 1943, she was united in marriage to Raymond John Hatzfeld and to this union two daughters were born. Besides being a devoted homemaker, Eva worked as a cook for nearly twenty years at the Southwest City School. She was a longtime member of the Southwest City First Baptist Church. 









She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-one years, Raymond Hatzfeld on February 5, 2005; and two siblings, Carl Junior Snider and Lolita McGlothlin.

Eva is survived by her two daughters, Marilyn Baker and husband, Charles, of Rogers, Arkansas and Debra Hopper and husband, John, of Bentonville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Christopher Baker of Parker, Colorado, Michael Baker of Mobile, Alabama, Robyn Bourlon of Rogers, Arkansas and Ryan Hopper of Bentonville, Arkansas; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2020, at the Southwest City Cemetery with Bro. Rob Grimm officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
