Jimmie Lou Greer

Jimmie Lou Greer, 91, of Stark City, Missouri, formerly from Anderson, Missouri, passed away of natural causes on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Communities of Wildwood in Joplin, Missouri.

Jimmie Lou was born November 3, 1928, to the late Carl Sellers and Anna Beatrice (Hynes) Sellers, in Anderson, Missouri. Her greatest joy was her family. Jimmie Lou dedicated her life and thoroughly enjoyed providing for her family by being a homemaker and Military spouse. When she wasn’t caring for those around her, she looked forward to tending to her flower gardens, creating beautiful pieces of jewelry, and painting. She loved God and was a member of the First Christian Church of Anderson, Missouri. 








Jimmie Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Anna Sellers; her husband, Owen Ray Greer; her brother, Billy “Sonny” Sellers; and her sister Patricia Ann Sellers.

She is survived by her sister, Dena Poulson and husband, Bill, of Neosho, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Tee Sellers of Lowell, Arkansas; two sons, Karl Greer of Fairbanks, Alaska; and Jan Greer and wife, Jill, of Stark City, Missouri; a daughter, Tracy Carrow and husband Michael of Newfield, New Jersey; four beautiful grandchildren, Jared Hopkins, Zachary Greer, Jonathan Carrow, and Kristen Carrow. Jimmie Lou is also survived by a host of friends and family who will miss her dearly.
