Marilyn Kay Gorman, 61, of Monett entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 5, 2020. She was born in Lebanon, Missouri on November 24, 1958; the daughter of Nellie Raona Wade and the late Robert Fugitt.
She was united in marriage on May 31, 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri to William Gorman; he survives.
She was a retired social worker.
Marilyn is survived by her husband William; one son: Patrick Gorman of Wentworth, Missouri; one daughter: Lanitia Ness of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; her mother: Nellie Wade of Cabool, Missouri; two brothers: Bruce Fugitt of Mountain Grove, Missouri and Tommy roam of Jefferson City, Missouri; one sister: Glenda Duncan of Cassville, Missouri; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert and one brother Richard Fugitt.
Visitation for Marilyn is being held on Thursday July 9, 2020 from 1:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00p.m. on Thursday July 5, 2020 at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at a later date at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
Memorial donations for Marilyn may be made to Hospice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
