(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Jo Ann McDaniel, 78, Neosho, MO, passed into eternal rest October 17, 2020 at her home in rural Seneca after a battle with cancer.
Jo Ann McDaniel was born April 21, 1942 in Greenville, AL the daughter of Hillary and Ann Bell (Young) Gorum. She had lived in the area for many years. Jo Ann retired from Eagle Pitcher Industries. She loved being with her family and friends. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Jo Ann Gorum married Francis Ronnie Lee McDaniel November 4, 1966 in Pensacola, FL and he survives.
Additional survivors include four sons; Bill McDaniel and wife Carole, Lee McDaniel, Providence, RI, Troy McDaniel and Dusty McDaniel all of Neosho, MO; two daughters, Crystal McDaniel and Kimberly Tutton and husband Travis all of Neosho, MO; one sister, Minnie Odom, Pensacola, FL; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 6 sisters, her parents and one grandson William McDaniel.
The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Seneca, MO.
The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Memorial Service 10:00 am, Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Bethany Baptist Church located on Old 60 drive east of Seneca, with Bro Ron Bridges and Bro Raymond Merriman officiating.
Committal of the cremains in the Burkhart Cemetery, in Racine, MO, will be held at a later date.
