Ray Gene Hill was born October 24, 1939 in Neosho, Missouri, one of three sons to Harold Eugene 'Gene'Cot' and Sarah Janelle (Pace) Hill. He entered into rest on October 29, 2020 in Seneca, Missouri, following an extended illness at the age of 81.
Ray Gene was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Neosho High School class of 1957. He worked for MODOT for 39 years, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed cattle farming, working in the hay field and NASCAR and was a member of Oakwood Christian Church.
Ray Gene and Bobbie (Naylor) were married on November 4, 1961 in Neosho and Bobbie survives of the home.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, he is survived by two brother, Roy Hill and wife, Eula of Neosho and Robert Hill and wife, Linda of Seneca and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
