Roger Ford

Mr. Roger Lee Ford, 68, of Joplin, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in the comfort of his home after a recent battle with cancer.

Roger entered this life on June 11, 1952, in Monett, Missouri, born to the union of the late Guy Benjamin and Thelma Ruth (Gregory) Ford. He was a 1970 graduate of Parkwood High School. He retired from Fleming Foods after twenty-seven years of service as a display vendor. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and playing his guitar. 









His parents and two brothers, Steve Ford and Kenny Hilton preceded him in death.

Roger is survived by two siblings, Bob Ford and wife, Cheryl, of Elizabethton, Tennessee and Janet Edie of Nixa, Missouri; three nephews, Patrick Edie and wife, Jennifer, of Jenks, Oklahoma, Corey Ford and wife, April, of Oronogo, Missouri and B.J. Ford and wife, Brenda, of Carl Junction, Missouri; two nieces, Carin White and husband, Jamie, of Springfield and Nichol Reece and husband, Tommy, of Mechanicsville, Maryland; a great nephew and niece whom he though of as his grandchildren, Alex and Katie Ford; as well as Steven and Shelby Ford and a host of other family and friends.
