Pamela Kiel

Pamela Joleene Kiel, age 70, of Joplin, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.

Mrs. Kiel, daughter of the late Roy and Jackie (Harris) Anderson, was born on March 19, 1950 in Columbus, KS. Pamela grew up and attended school in Columbus. After graduation she spent time in Oregon and then moving to Phoenix. 

During her time in Phoenix, she met William Kiel. They were united in marriage in 1996 in Phoenix. On July 4, 1999 they moved to Joplin to make their home and she was employed with the Neosho School District until her retirement.







Survivors include her husband, William Kiel, of Joplin; two daughters, Joyce Jackson and Amber Gray, both of Phoenix; one sister, Janet Ruddick, and her husband, Dennis, of Jane; four grandchildren, Lyle Jackson, Shy’Ana Jackson, Opal Jackson, and Robert Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Allen Anderson, Jr.; and one granddaughter, Tasha Anderson.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm. at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and may be entrusted to the mortuary.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory, Joplin.
