Richard “Rick” Dell Guerra, 56, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on September 9, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO, following a sudden illness. He passed surrounded by family and loved ones upon passing.

Rick was born on July 26, 1970 to Mae Uhlman and Alejandro Guerra in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was raised by Ruby Leach and Alex G. Ortega. He grew up around Jay, Oklahoma and McDonald County, Missouri.

Rick was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby Leach; his mother Mae Ortega; his grandson, Ulric Adams; his father-in-law, Claud Stanton; his mother-in-law, Darlene Stanton; his sister-in-law, Kristina Ortega; his aunt Brenda Robinson; and his beloved dog Bandit Guerra.

He survived by Stacy Guerra; Brian Rand; Tazia Guerra; Keira Guerra; Mikia Farlow; Tyler Guerra; Nathan Guerra; Alejandro Dwayne Guerra-Ortega and family; Anthony Edward Ortega and family; Jamie Milligan and family; Starlyn Smith and family; Sheryle Alexander and family; and Edmund Sideravage and family. Rick is survived by his best friends Issac Horton, Ryan Miller, Trish King and Bill and Tina Miller.

Ricks grandchildren include, James Frazier, Tira Adams, Dreaxan Adams, Lylith Adams, Aiden Guerra, Astrid Guerra, Esther Farlow and Jeremiah Farlow.

Rick will be remembered as a man who was stubborn but had a heart of gold. He will be remembered by all by his outspoken personality. He will be remembered by many as a man who was touched by his presence. His memory will remain with those who loved him and he will be deeply missed.

Forever loved. Forever Remembered.
