(From Ozark Funeral Home)Fredda L. Beaver, 89, of Anderson, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Oak Pointe Care Center in Neosho, Missouri.
Fredda was born on April 21, 1937, in Anderson, Missouri, to Ralph and Ethel (Wills) Bachman. She was raised and attended school in Anderson. On October 7, 1954, she was united in marriage to Norman Eugene Beaver, and together they shared nearly sixty-five years of love and companionship. To this union, two children were born, Alan and Melissa.
Following their marriage, she joined Norman in Germany while he was serving country in the United States Army. After Alan was born in Germany they returned United States. Fredda and Norman made their home in Dallas and Wichita before eventually returning to Anderson, Missouri, in 1977. She worked in banking both in Noel and Pineville before serving many years as a teacher’s aide and braille paraprofessional for the McDonald County School District. She took exceptional care of one of her students, Freddy, whom she was with until he graduated.
Fredda was a faithful member of Patterson Heights Baptist Church, where her presence and commitment were appreciated by those who worshiped alongside her. She found joy in simple pleasures, working in her yard, gardening and cooking for her family.
She is survived by her two children, Alan Beaver and his wife, Christina, of Anderson, Missouri, and Melissa Jennings and her husband, Frank, also of Anderson; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
Fredda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ethel Bachman; her husband, Norman Beaver, on October 2, 2019; and seven siblings, Cleo, Cecil, Roy, William, Troy, Marie, and Dortha.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 4, 2026 at Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri, with Pastor Fred Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery near Longview, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
