Today, we gather to honor and remember the life of our beloved Mu Sar. Born in Burma. Mu Sar was the second youngest daughter of Mar Mo and Wi Reh, who sadly passed away in 2025. She was one of six sisters: Aye Meh, Mary Meh, Eh Mo, Ti Mo, and Day Meh. Mu Sar was not only a loving sister and daughter but also a devoted mother to her four children, Da Win, Dominic Ko, Tee Reh, and Poe Reh.
On September 5, 2012, Mu Sar came to the United States and settled in Houston, Texas, seeking new opportunities and a better life. Over the years, she built a life filled with family, friendship, and love. Those who knew her would describe her as a brave and determined woman who pursued her passions without fear. Her courage and strength were among the greatest qualities she leaves behind.
Mu Sar enjoyed doing a lot of things during her lifetime, but her favorite was shopping, dining out, putting on makeup, and dressing up. She had a special way of appreciating life’s simple pleasures, creating beautiful memories with the people she loved. Her joyful spirit and warm presence brought happiness to those around her.
Mu Sar sadly passed away on September 5, 2026, as a result of a tragic car accident. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving a deep sorrow in the hearts of her family and loved ones. Her absence leaves an emptiness in the hearts of her children, siblings, relatives, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Although Mu Sar time with us was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
May Mu Sar rest peacefully, and may her memory continue to live on through her children, family, and friends. Thank you all for attending today to honor and remember the life of Mu Sar.
The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday the 19th of September 2026, at Buchanan Funeral Home, 301 Euclid Ave, Monett. The burial will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the personal care of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
