(From Ozark Memorial Park Crematory)Marjorie “Jo” Heath, 89, of Carl Junction, MO passed away on August 31, 2026. Jo was born August 20, 1937 in Joplin, MO to Burl and Gladys Smith. Jo attended high school in Joplin, MO. she retired from Joplin Workshop as a supervisor, working 20 plus years.
Survivors include; son, Mark Heath and daughter, Kris Acevedo (Raymond); sister, Deloris Beatty; grandchildren, Sarah Harreus (Brian), Stephanie Heath, Ashley Heath, Jerrad Heath (Jennifer), Jennifer Gandy (Sky), 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Gladys Smith, an infant brother, sons, George Heath, John Heath and a great-grandson, JayJay Hill.
The family would like to give a special thank you to NHC staff and Phoenix Hospice team for all the special care that was given.
Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO.
Per Jo’s wishes no services will be held.
