(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Richard Marris, 51, lifelong resident of Seneca, MO passed away September 23, 2026 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.
Richard Marris was born May 27, 1975 in Joplin, MO the son of Gerald and Yoshiko (Ishimne) Marris. He was a 1993 graduate of Seneca High School. After graduation he went to Spartan Aviation in Tulsa and received his certificate for aircraft maintenance. Richard then went to work at the Joplin Airport. He enjoyed riding his four wheeler, going to Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals games and cars.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother Yoshiko Marris.
Survivors include his father Gerald Marris, Seneca; two sisters, Junko (Marris) Mitchell and husband Roy, Commerce, OK and Susan (Marris) Leibee, Golden City, MO; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6-7pm, September 30, 2026 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
