Neal Stanley

Neal James Stanley, age 78, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville, Arkansas.

He was born March 17, 1948 in Gateway, Arkansas the son of Ruby and Ersie (David) Stanley. On March 21, 1969 in Seligman he was united in marriage to Cleta Risley, who survives. Also surviving are his sons, Leslie Stanley and wife Nickie of Seligman, Missouri, and Ronnie Stanley and wife Dusty of Seligman, Missouri; sister, Eldora Pratt and husband J.R. of Seligman, Missouri; brother, Raymond Stanley and wife Pat of Grove, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Tammy Stripling, Corey Stanley and wife Natalie, Hunter Stanley and wife Jordyn, and Garrett Stanley and wife Caitlin and great grandchildren, Tessa, Reece, Cohen, and Spencer with one on the way, Slade.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Wanda; brothers, Lynn and Alvin and stepmother, Ona.

Neal spent his entire life in the Seligman area. He attended school in Washburn, Missouri, graduating from Southwest High School in 1966. Neal worked at Emerson Electric in Rogers, Arkansas, while also farming. He later worked for ten years at Pea Ridge Military Park before opening Seligman Auto Parts. He proudly owned and operated the business for 30 years. After closing the parts store, Neal spent the last seven years working alongside his sons and grandsons in construction.

Neal had a natural talent for working with his hands and enjoyed welding, making, and rebuilding things. He also had a special interest in collecting pedal cars. Neal was raised in the Assembly of God Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Seligman Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Carroll Williamson will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

Contributions may be made to Seligman Chamber of Commerce and entrusted to Fohn Funeral Home in memory of Neal.
