Cheryl Vore

Cheryl Ann Vore (formerly Wissbaum), 67, of Monett, Missouri, passed away on September 15, 2026.

Cheryl was born on June 12, 1959, and spent her childhood on the family farm near Conway, Missouri. She graduated from Missouri Southern State University, where she put her talents as a seamstress to work creating costumes for the theater department and met the love of her life, Jerry. The two were married for 46 years. She later spent many years working at Walmart until her retirement. She was known for her laugh, which drew people in and made even distant cousins feel like siblings. 

Cheryl was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Nichole Marie Vore, and her mother, Ruth Carol Wissbaum (Wills).

She is survived by her husband, Jerald Mark Vore; her three daughters, Stephanie (Joseph), Stacy, and Samantha; her father, David E. Wissbaum; her brother, J. David Wissbaum; and numerous cousins and extended family who loved her dearly.

The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pierce City, MO on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Memorial Mass will follow beginning at 7:00 PM with Father David officiating.
