(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Carol Butcher, age 78 of Jasper, Missouri, passed away Monday September 21, 2026 at her home with family by her side.
Carol was born July 19, 1948 in Stockton, Missouri to Paul and Maxine Baker.
She was a great wife and mother. She enjoyed assisting with the Boy Scouts, Scrap booking and she loved fishing.
Carol married Bruce on December 23, 1965 in Joplin, Missouri and he survives. She is also survived by one son, Tony Butcher and wife, Amber, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren, three sisters, Debbie Slankard, Eddy Snow, Pat Marvin and numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Casey Butcher, three brothers, Archie, Sunny and Buddy Baker and one sister, Mary.

Those gentlemen honoring her life by serving as pallbearers will be, David Russell, Jimmy Russell, Josh Cook, Jason Cook, Josh Craig, and Johnny Johnson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday September 25, 2026 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Chaplin Bruce Salsman officiating. Burial will follow at Purcell Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service.
