(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Earl Barbee, age 89, of Carthage, MO passed away on September 11, 2026 at his home.
He was born on April 16, 1937 in Richland, KS to his parents Earl Raymond and Adelia Jane (Montfoort) Barbee.
He lived the majority of his life in the Richland and Overbrook, KS areas later moving to Joplin, MO to be closer to family.
Earl served in the Army National Guard and later worked for Florence Construction Company for 40 years. He also farmed for many years in the surrounding Overbrook, KS community.
Earl is survived by his wife Sue (McPhail) Barbee of 68 years, one daughter, Tonya Pentola and her husband David, one grandchild, Bryan Woodruff and wife Kaylee, three great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Bodee, and Berklee.
