(From Knell Mortuary)Amber Lee Gilpin, age 52, of Carthage, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at her residence. She entered this life on November 12, 1973, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Michael and Cindy (Green) Gipson.
Amber’s life was marked by love, devotion, and the deep bonds she shared with her family. She spent her formative years in Carl Junction, Missouri, and later graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1993. Those who knew her remember a woman whose greatest joy came from being a loving mother and a cherished companion to those closest to her.
She is survived by her best friend and companion, Jason Gilpin; her three children, Courtney Been, Kaden Gilpin, and Keeton Gilpin; her granddaughter, Taylin Hayward; her mother, Cindy Ziglar and husband, Ziggy; her maternal grandmother, Ann Green; and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Gipson, and her maternal grandfather, Ed Green.
Amber was a wonderful mother whose life centered around caring for her children and family. She gave of herself freely and consistently, offering encouragement, comfort, and support in ways that will be remembered always. Her family was the heart of her world, and she found great happiness in the simple, meaningful moments they shared together.
She enjoyed her flower gardens, a good cup of coffee, listening to music, loved her animals, and spending time with her family and her granddaughter. These pleasures reflected the gentle and appreciative spirit with which she approached life.
Visitation and graveside services will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Knell Mortuary in Carthage, Missouri.
