(From Clark Funeral Home)Billy Ray Poulson was born on July 14, 1933, in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Thelmer Lewis Poulson and Doris (Smith) Poulson. He passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026, at the age of 93.
Billy honorably served his country in the United States military, serving in Korea. He enjoyed watching Westerns on television, spending time with his dog, Sassie, and being surrounded by his grandchildren and his Webwood family.
On May 10, 1971, he was united in marriage to Dena Rue Sellers, who preceded him in death on February 27, 2022.
He is survived by his children, Todd Poulson and wife Cindy of Arcadia, Oklahoma; Dave Watson and wife Donna of Van Buren, Arkansas; Judy Smith and husband Kurt of Neosho, Missouri; and Jeff Watson and wife Sherri of Lone Tree, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Brenda Poulson; along with his beloved grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Todd Poulson and wife Cindy of Arcadia, Oklahoma; Dave Watson and wife Donna of Van Buren, Arkansas; Judy Smith and husband Kurt of Neosho, Missouri; and Jeff Watson and wife Sherri of Lone Tree, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Brenda Poulson; along with his beloved grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dena Rue Poulson; his son, Terry Poulson; the mother of his sons Todd and Terry, Doris Ilene Shrum; his sister, Betty Page; and his parents.
