Todd Owen Petillo, 42, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on September 15, 2026 after a courageous five year battle with Stage IV colorectal cancer. He met every challenge with unyielding grit and a refusal to quit, inspiring everyone who knew him.

Todd was born on June 22, 1984, in Norman, Oklahoma, to Keith Allen Petillo and Kathy Lynn Hargrove. He spent his early childhood in several parts of Oklahoma before settling in Bixby, where his love for exploring and being outdoors first took root. A graduate of Bixby High School and a member of the National Honor Society, Todd carried his curiosity and creativity with him into adulthood.

Todd attended Missouri Southern State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts with a minor in Spanish, graduating with honors. It was there he met Erica Parker, who would become his lifelong companion. Over 18 years, their relationship grew through shared experiences, deep commitment, and a love that carried them through every season of life. They married in February 2021—a moment Todd joked was simply “getting the government involved,” as they had already built the foundation of a marriage long before.

Todd approached every project with creativity and precision. He started his career designing skateparks, combining technical skill with an instinctive understanding of movement. Those early designs became the foundation for the work that followed as his craft evolved.

In 2018, Todd joined Progressive Trail Design and quickly made an impact. Officially, he excelled as a Senior 3D Artist for more than seven years. Unofficially, Todd was the man of many hats — literally being instrumental in helping the team navigate all the nuances of IT, printers, and any other random task available. He expanded his craft from visioning skateparks into mountain bike trail and bike park design. Todd was a 3D modelling expert who brought natural landscapes to life through beautifully executed scenes that consistently spoke louder than words. His designs have positively impacted communities the world over and continue to serve people every day! Todd’s talent for blending artistry with the outdoors was cultivated through his genuine love for creating spaces where people could move, explore, and feel free. Todd’s career was defined by precision, curiosity, and craftsmanship; his contributions to recreation and land access will not be forgotten.

Todd had a natural instinct to figure things out. When something needed solving, he dove straight into videos, forums, and research rabbit holes, determined to understand not just how it worked, but how it could work better. He became the unofficial tech support for nearly everyone he knew, always ready to tackle a frozen screen, a glitch, or a full blown device meltdown.

Todd is survived by his wife, Erica Parker; his parents, Keith and Lillie Petillo of McLoud, Oklahoma, and Kathy and Jeff Pursley of Bixby, Oklahoma; and his in laws, Melanie and Terry McGinnis of Diamond, Missouri. He is also survived by a wide circle of extended family and friends who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by loved ones who went before him.

Todd found joy in the quiet beauty of the outdoors—especially camping with family, sitting beside a fire, or taking in a new overlook on a trail.

Todd’s absence leaves a profound void, and his legacy of love, curiosity, and craftsmanship will continue to shape the lives of those who knew him.
