Ramona Beaunoyer

Ramona M. Beaunoyer, age 47, of Joplin, Mo., was called home on February 18, 2019, at a local
nursing home, following an illness.

Ramona was born on May 7, 1971 in Chanute, Ks., the daughter of Ira and Bonnie Grieve
Herndon. She has been a resident of Joplin since 1991. She worked for Independent Living as an
aide.

She married Richard V. Beaunoyer on March 16, 1991 in Joplin and he survives.

Additional survivors include her father, Ira Herndon of Neck City, a son Richard T. Beaunoyer
of Carthage, two daughters, Justine and Jessica Beaunoyer both of Carthage, a brother, David
Herndon of Joplin and a sister, Rosie Ford of Joplin, 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Brycen and
Addison. Ramona was preceded by her mother Bonnie and a brother Dean who await her arrival in Heaven.

There will be a service to remember Ramona and celebrate her next journey with or Lord in his glorious kingdom at Peoples Home Mission of Joplin located at 411 9th Street at 1pm Saturday, February 23.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.

Dean Dowd

Dean Denver Dowd, age 76, Neosho, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dean was born January 4, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of the late Dean Denver Dowd, Sr. and Esther Maude Alexander Dowd. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, graduated from Stet High School, and worked as a mechanic for years before marrying Linda Mauzey in 1964. He purchased his own truck, and was a truck driver all of his adult life, retiring in 2014 due to health reasons. He purchased his last truck in 1998, and for years (prior to the song) he used the handle of "Rubber Duck" on the CB. He always said he had that handle first. He loved his family, and was known as a fighter through all of his health issues. He will be greatly missed by his wife, daughter, grandchildren, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Eagan.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Linda Dowd; daughter, Deborah Brodie and husband Michael of Goodman, Missouri; son-in-law, Kenneth Eagan of Washburn; four grandchildren, Darrell Lee Eagan and wife Crissy of Washburn, Julie Lee Bates and husband Brandon of Neosho, Colton Denver Hines and Lilly Ann Hines both of Goodman; two great-grandchildren, Dustin Eugene Bates and Averie Lee Bates.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.

David White

David L. White, 71, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest February 20, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital after an illness.

David Lee White was born March 28, 1947 in Pueblo, CO the son of Jessie Lee and Gladys ( Cloninger ) White. David served his country in the US Army he also served in the US Air Force. David retired from the Kansas City Missouri Water Department after more than 20 years service. He was a Christian and a member of the Seneca United Methodist Church. David loved dogs, and loved Civil-War re-enacting. David was a strong, committed and kind man who loved his family.

David Lee White married Marilyn Martes May 21, 2007 in Eureka Springs, AR and she survives.

Additional survivors include one daughter, Wendy Dobbs, Moore, OK; one step-daughter, Colleen Martes/ Jacobson, Archie, MO; one brother, James White, Joplin, MO; three sisters, Peggy Hudgens, Naples, FL, Judy Kesler, Lee's Summit, MO and Sharon White; grandchildren, Bailey Dobbs, Jordan Hocker, Aliena Martes, Joshua Jacobson and David Jacobson; Great-Grandchildren, Marigold Baumhocker and Bodhi Martes-Finley.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Seneca United Methodist Church with Rev. Marilyn O'Brien officiating.

Bonnie Sanders

Bonnie Marlene Sanders, age 85, of Boulder City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma with loved ones by her side.

She was born December 19, 1933 in Boulder City, the daughter of George Landon and Ora (Hobson) Lewis. On October 6, 1951 she was united in marriage to Clyde Sanders Jr., who preceded her in death on January 3, 1994. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one great granddaughter, Karissa Walburn; one daughter-in-law, Brenda and her unborn child; four brothers, Joe, Landon, Dallas and Denzil and four sisters, Pauline, Maxine, Josephine and Marjorie.

Surviving are her six children, JR Sanders of Neosho, Rita Scholes of Diamond, Tamara Weems of Granby, Rick Sanders of Granby, Eddie Sanders of Granby, and Angie Dunn of Neosho; one brother, John Lewis of Stella; two sisters, Darlene Laughlin of Stella and Georgia Wisely of Texas; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Boulder City. For over thirty years she was employed at Sunbeam Products in Neosho, where she retired. She enjoyed shopping with her sisters, reading books, the 10 o’clock news and Sunday dinners.

She loved bigger than most and was best known for the love she had for her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Hazel Green Cemetery in Boulder City, Missouri. Pastor Jerry Francisco will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at Clark Funeral Home – Granby Chapel, Granby, Missouri.

John Chambers

John Ira Chambers of Southwest City, Missouri, passed away on February 19, 2019 at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.

John was born April 22, 1942 in Granby, MO to the late Noah Clella and Lillian Deltina (Willoughby) Chambers. He was a member of the Assembly of God Faith and worked as a truck driver. John enjoyed watching sports and learning about WWII history.

John is survived by his wife Marva Chambers of the home. A son; John Chambers, Jr. of La Junta Colorado, a daughter; Candice Maree’ Bruce of Grove, OK, brother; Leo Chambers of Grove, OK, a sister; Lucy Schrank of New Braunfels, TX, four grandchildren; Hanna Bruce, Taylor Chambers, Stacy Wolff and Elizabeth Chambers, two nephews; Larry Lee Owens and Leslie Owens of Southwest City, three nieces; Marsha Owens, Mary Owens and Michelle Moore all of Southwest City, a sister in law; Aberta Owens and six great grandchildren as well as a host of other family and friends.

Frances Gordon

Frances Esther Gordon, age 83, of Lamar, Missouri passed away February 18, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Joplin.

Frances was born March 17, 1935 in Chanute, KS to Claude Duvah Perry and Edna Leona (Todd) Perry. Frances graduated from Chanute High School and received her BS Degree from Pittsburg State University. In 1961, Frances married David Paul Gordon in Wichita, KS and together they raised eight children. Frances worked as a Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Med Tech and as a cook. She attended Lamar First Baptist Church.

Frances is survived by her children, Isa Gordon-West Lamar, MO, David (Daylene) Gordon, Lamar, MO, Scott (Kristi) Gordon, Lamar, MO, Ralph Gordon, Dallas, TX, Shawn (Brenda) Gordon, Springfield, MO, William Gordon, Edmond, OK; Grandchildren, Kyla Ziegenhagen, D.J. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, February 22, 2019 at Lamar First Baptist Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Chanute, Kansas at 1:30 pm..

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Clem Filarski

Clement C. “Clem” Filarski, age 86, of Joplin, passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2019, at Joplin Gardens, following an illness.

Clem was born on April 5, 1932 in Sarcoxie, Mo., the son of the late Barney and Genevieve (Shrader) Filarski. He has been a lifetime area resident. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He married Elizabeth Bischoff on January 14, 1956 in Joplin, together they raised three children. He was a Catholic. He worked as a boom truck operator for Leggett & Platt.

Clem was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Filarski in October 2014; one son David Filarski in June 2016; nine brothers, John, Fred, Tony, Tom, Raymond, Ed, Joe, Bill and Frank; and three sisters, Julia Hill, Helen McQuitty, and Rose Hill.

He is survived by one son, Rick Filarski and wife Jackie, Joplin; one daughter, Clara Williams, Villa Rica, Ga.; seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Reverend Jarel Burnside will officiate. Burial will be in Diamond Cemetery, Diamond, Mo.

The family will receive friends 4-5 p.m. Sunday at Mason-Woodard Chapel.
