Anna Lou Terrill, age 87, Joplin, passed away at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital.
Anna was born March 5, 1928 in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Abe C. Zwahelen and Jewell Belle Moore Zwahelen and had lived in Joplin since 1960.
She worked as a beautician for 40 years in Joplin and was a proud member of the National Hairdressers Association. Anna was a member of Villa Heights Christian Church, where she was also a member of the Friendly Class.
She married Charles K. Terrill on October 30, 1946 in Winnemacca, Nevada. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2003.
Anna was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kaycee Ragan and her aunt and uncle, Paul and Susie Draeger.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Sue Spiva, Joplin, Kathryn Ann Ragan and her husband, Shelby, Olathe, Kansas; four grandchildren, Wendy Poplin, Charles K. Ragan, Lance Burton, Melinda Burton; nine great grandchildren; and several extended family members.
Services are planned for Monday at Noon at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Truman Brady, Minister, will officiate. Interment will follow at McKey Cemetery, Hollowell, Kansas. Pallbearers will be Charles Ragan, Lance Burton, Kolten Ragan, Kohlsen Burton, Shelby Ragan, Braxton Burton and Richard Scott. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joplin Shrine Club Travel Fund, in care of Parker Mortuary.
