Randy McDaniel

Randy Wayne McDaniel, 65, of Webb City, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Cox Medical South in Springfield, Missouri, after suffering an apparent stroke.

Randy began his earthly journey on October 16, 1950, in El Paso, Texas, born to the union of Wayne and Stella (Thompson) McDaniel. He was raised and attended high school in Southern California. On September 19, 1970, he was united in marriage to Deanna Egger and together they have shared the last forty-five years. They resided in Hemet, California before moving to the Carthage, Webb City area in 1990. He was a self-employed landscaper, owning Mac’s Creative Landscaping for several years. He was an avid hunter and sports enthusiast. Randy had accepted Christ as his Personal Lord and Savior and was an active member of Christ Church of Oronogo.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Katy Weathers.

Randy is survived by his wife, Deanna McDaniel of the home; three children, Rachelle Hafer and husband, Joshua, of Carl Junction, Missouri, Kary Vaughn and husband, Jimmy, of Webb City, Missouri and William McDaniel of Joplin, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, Morgan Hafer, Jordan Hafer, Pallim Hafer, Devrin Weathers, Jayden Weathers, Raven Vaughn, Rylee McDaniel, Josiah Vaughn, Janiah Vaughn, Jonah Ramos, Shelby McDaniel and Ava McDaniel; his parents, Wayne and Stella McDaniel of Carthage, Missouri; a brother, Dr. Russell McDaniel and wife, Yvette, of Webb City, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. McDaniel are 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Christ Church of Oronogo, Missouri, with Pastor Lynn Ragsdale officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Russ McDaniel, Josh Hafer, Jimmy Vaughn, Will McDaniel, Robert Stevens and Eric Hollingsworth.
