Sharon L. Jackson, 63, of Reeds passed away at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday November 24, 2015 at Freeman Hospital. Sharon was born June 20, 1952 in Carthage and has been a lifetime resident. Sharon was the daughter of Q.L. Reynolds and Louva “Relf” Reynolds. She was a dairy farmer. Sharon was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sarcoxie. She worked in the nursery for 32 years and also helped with Bible Drill for about four years. Sharon was also active with the Sarcoxie 4H Club. Sharon was united in marriage to Larry Jackson on April 26, 1986 at the First Baptist Church in Sarcoxie. He survives.
Other survivors include one Son, Andrew Jackson and his wife Lacy of Wentworth, MO and one daughter Kendra Tilton of Webb City, MO, one brother John Reynolds and his wife Deloris of Carthage, one sister-in-law Donna Reynolds of Carthage and numerous nieces and nephews and one grandson Cash R. Holland. Sharon was preceded in death by one brother, Quinton Reynolds in 2014.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015. Burial will be in Dudman Springs Cemetery, east of Carthage. Contributions may be made to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home or to the Gideon’s in care of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
