Bobby Royce (Bob) Braden, age 85 of Joplin, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at National Healthcare Center in Joplin following a lengthy illness.
Born October 10, 1930 in Fort Morgan, CO, he was the son of the late Harry and Elen Humbard Braden and had lived in Joplin since 2005, moving from Denver, CO, where he had lived most of his lifetime. Bob worked as a paper sales representative much of his working life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice, on May 10, 2011.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Smart and husband Thomas of Joplin, Janet Carr of Arvada, CO; his sister, Delores Young and husband Ralph of Parker, CO; four granddaughters, Michelle Chaussee and husband Mike of Vermillion, SD, Susan Campbell of Joplin, Mandy Krueger of Arvada, CO, Kristin Devore of Joplin and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to National Healthcare Center
