James Willis McAllister age 59 of Webb City, MO passed away on November 24, 2015 in Rockport, IN. He was born on October 28, 1956 in Bethesda, MD the son of Willis and Robina “Adams” McAllister. He married Rose Hoerbert on December 26, 1982 in Emden, IL. James was employed with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union Local # 37 as a welder. He attended Forest Park Baptist Church North Campus.
James was preceded in death by his mother Robina McAllister, and a daughter Jaime McAllister. Survivors include his wife Rose of the home, a son Ian McAllister and wife Lauren of Webb City, MO, a daughter Amber Snyder of Joplin, MO, his dad and Stepmom Willis and Linda McAllister, three brothers: David McAllister, Robert Hill and John McAllister; three sisters: Pam Clark, Diane Gaddie and Christin Liles; six grandchildren: Connor Snyder, Skyler Snyder, Jerney Snyder, Justis Snyder, Brooke McAllister and Jordan McAllister.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday November 28, 2015 at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory with Pastor Steve Derdowski officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at the Mortuary.
