Most people don’t live to be a 100, but Betty Peck of Lanagan, Missouri did. She was born in Fedor, Texas on March 25, 1920 and died July 18, 2020 McDonald County Living Center, where she had been a resident for 20 years. Betty was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith in 1934.
Betty was the last of 10 children born to Carl and Bertha Kaiser. She married Edmond Peck in 1944, they had one child, Rose Mary who survives.

She is also survived by Carole Peck of Noel, Missouri; her special Texas family; many nieces and nephews.
Betty was a resident of Lanagan, Missouri for many years and loved her neighbors dearly. Betty enjoyed gardening, cooking and her work at Blue Star Canning Factory, Hudson Foods and the Ginger Blue Inn. She was a lover of cats.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Lanagan Cemetery in Lanagan, Missouri. Pastor Marilyn O’Brien will officiate. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 9:30 am until service time at the cemetery.
