Jimmy Lee Henson, age 49, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at his home.
Jimmy was born November 24, 1970 in Houston, Texas, son of the late Arnold and Sylvia Corbett. He grew up in Bennington, Oklahoma where he went to High School.
He held several jobs over the years in construction, and also working on cars. He was a typical country boy who loved outdoors -fishing, hunting, and riding four wheelers.
Survivors include his fiance, LeeAnn Greenwood, whom he has been with since 2014; a son, Christopher Smith of Silo, Oklahoma; brothers, Robbie Corbett (Mary) of Hugo, Oklahoma, James Henson (Shannon) of Durant, Oklahoma, Jeff Henson (Michelle) of Tucson, Arizona; sisters, Susan Corbett and Jessica Corbett, both of Bennington, Oklahoma; grandson, Landon Massengale of Antlers, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date;
Memorial contributions are requested to be made to the family to help with final expenses.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
