Phyllis McElwain, 77, Neosho, MO passed away July 22, 2020. She was born June 10, 1943 in Deepwater, WV to Dorothy (Pickens) and Charles Stewart.
Phyllis worked in manufacturing as a punch press operator. She enjoyed shopping and crocheting.
Phyllis and Emanuel McElwain were married July 4, 1989 in Cleveland, OH; Emanuel survives of their Neosho home.
She is also survived by her children: Candy Maleski and husband, Ted of Ashland, OH, Carol Anderson, Penny Stewart, Gina Anderson, Dale Anderson and wife, Dawn, Helena Pierce, all of Cleveland, OH, Kathy Kern and husband, Jeffery and Misty Fields and husband, Alex, all of Neosho, MO; three brothers, Clarence Stewart of Deepwater, WV, Clinton Stewart of Cleveland, OH, and Frankie Stewart of Indiana; two sisters, Dottie Stewart and Sandy Stewart O’Boyle, both of Cleveland, OH; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Phyllis was preceded in death by two daughters, Debbie Anderson and Nancy Anderson; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one brother, Roger Stewart.
