Phyllis Jean Hardee, age 71, of Wyandotte, Ok, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at her home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Hardee, daughter of the late Floyd M. and Hazel D. (Hensley) Bearden, was born on September 11, 1948 in Joplin, MO. On February 1, 1971 in Neosho, MO she was united in marriage to Robert L. Hardee, he survives. She was of the Apostolic faith being a member of the Tabernacle Church of Joplin. She took great pride in raising her children and was a devoted grandmother that will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Hardee, of Wyandotte, OK; three sons, Rick Dean Hardee, and his wife, Sharma, of Miami, OK, Robert Gene Hardee, and his wife, Whitney, of Webb City, MO and Dustin Lee Hardee, of Wyandotte, OK; two daughters, Tammie M. Hollis, and her husband, Steve, of Wyandotte, OK, and Diamond Nicole Hall, and her husband, Charlie, of Neosho, MO; two sisters, Diane Bickford, and her husband, Leroy, of Afton, OK, and Vickie Murphy, of Granby, MO and seven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry, and Richard Bearden; three sisters, Eloise and Rosemary Bearden, and Elizabeth Grady; and one grandson, Robert Wayne Hardee.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Fairview Cemetery in Joplin, with Steve Hollis officiating. The family will receive friends and family for a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 15th from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Mason-Woodard Mortuary in Joplin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Souls Harbor of Joplin and entrusted to the mortuary.
