Emily Clare "Lee" Slevin, age 84, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital.
Lee was born June 6, 1936 in Webb City, Missouri, daughter of the late Floyd Slevin and Helen Parker Slevin. She loved to garden, do DIY projects, and watch HGTV, DIY TV, and was known for being able to build anything. She was always on the move, and loved to remodel or repair any home project she could find. She was also a faithful member of St. Philip Episcopal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dory Sapp.
Survivors include her daughter, Vicky Puckett Cleveland of Joplin; grandchildren, Lynette C. Yandell and C.R. Allen Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Deya V. Yandell, Gwyneth Cleveland, Bailey Cleveland, Braxton Cleveland, Mila Cleveland, Zayden Cleveland, and Kaden Cleveland (they all lovingly called her Gigi).
The family extend a very special thanks to Tracy and Raine for their loving and compassionate care give to Lee in her greatest time of need.
