James Robert Gouge was born June 21, 1938 in Newton County, Missouri, one of seven children to Clyde and Angie (Brashears) Gouge. He entered into rest on at the age of 82 on July 27, 2020.
James served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a lifelong area resident and had owned and operated a plumbing business.
James is survived by three children, Mark Gouge, Lauri Creekhouse and Michele Gotney; three stepsons, Dan Livermore, Todd Livermore and Tim Livermore; two sisters, Wilma Matthews and husband, Dale of Neosho and Willa Dean Sprenkle and husband, Harry of Neosho; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Caryn Jean Gouge, daughter, Laura Faust, son, Mike Gouge, three sisters, Betty Joines, Vicki Warren and Peggy Spoon and two brothers, Dicky Gouge and Jr. Clyde Gouge.
No formal services are planned at this time.
