Judy Ann Sweet, age 69, Joplin, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at her home with family at her side.
Judy was born May 18, 1951 in Webb City, Missouri, daughter of the late Bill Etcheson and Opal Eppright Etcheson. She grew up in Webb City and attended Webb City High School, and then got her business degree from Vatterott College. She worked for 28 years with Feerick's Candy and Tobacco Company as their bookkeeper. She loved spending time with her family, and was an excellent cook. She was also known to enjoy sewing for family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Maggie Sweet; and a brother, Billy Etcheson.
Survivors include her sons, James Sweet and wife Christy of Rogers, Arkansas, Chad Sweet of Joplin; daughter, Trina Perkins and husband David of Joplin; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary
No formal services are planned at this time.
