Helen Marie Jelley, 86, Neosho, MO passed away July 19, 2020. Helen was born September 21, 1933 in Garden City, KS to Lenora (Whitson) and Homer Whithorn.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, visiting the beach, her family, and cats.
Helen and Clarence Jelley were married July 1, 1957 in Neosho, MO and he survives.
She is also survived by her daughter, Sharon Otten of Neosho; sister-in-law, Daisy Whithorn of Winfield, KS; four grandchildren, Jimmy, Missy, Becky, and Tiffany; and nine great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Diana Payton; two sisters, Doris and Irene; one brother, John; and a son-in-law, Jamie Otten.
Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO with Pastor Dennis Bergen officiating. A time of visitation will be Wednesday, beginning at 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will be at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery, Neosho, MO. Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Otten, Daniel Williams, John Whetzell, Logan Whetzell, Ethan Otten, and Christian Williams.
