(From Clark Funeral Home)Mark K. Sivadon, age 63, of Newtonia, Missouri, went home to Heaven at 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2021, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He was born November 25, 1957, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, the son of Grant H. and Audra (Upshaw) Sivadon.
Mark grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and graduated from Sapulpa High School. On August 28, 1981, he married the love of his life, Debra “Debbie” L. Wells, in Miami, Oklahoma.
Mark and Debbie moved to the Newton County area in 1987. They had a farm and raised cattle; he also worked for EFCO Corporation and Wells Aluminum in Monett and at Heritage Oak of Sarcoxie, at the HWY 60 location. He always worked hard to provide for his family; they were his heart and primary focus. Mark was a member of Newtonia Baptist Church. He loved to go antiquing, taking long drives, having deep talks, and reading his Bible. Mostly his favorite thing to do was simply be with his wife of 40 years.
He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie; his son, Tyler Sivadon of Granby; daughter, Savanah Sivadon and granddog, Tedward, of Pierce City; sister, Marilyn Beilke and her husband, George, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; aunt, Mamie Hall of Holbert, Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Nellie Wells, of Newtonia; sister-in-law, Marsha Landreth and her husband, Danny, of Stark City; sister-in-law, Lou Anne Clark and her husband, Richard, of Bristow, Oklahoma; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
His parents and his sister Marica Causey preceded him in death.
A graveside service under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home in Granby will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021, at the Newtonia IOOF Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newtonia Community Center c/o care of the Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26, Granby, MO 64844.
